Starlight Bay Resort is a great base camp for exploring the numerous lakes in the Nevis, Minnesota area. We're located right on 8th Crow Wing Lake, and we're just minutes from many of the best lakes you'll find in northern Minnesota. We've listed a few of our favorite lakes, below. Belle Taine Lake
Location: 5 miles east

Belle Taine Lake is one of the larger lakes in our area. It has an area of almost 1,500 acres, maximum depth of 56 feet, and a shoreline of 24 miles . Belle Taine Lake is also a great place to fish. You'll find largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, northern pike, walleye, and yellow perch.

Two Inlets Lake
Location: 25 miles east

Two Inlets Lake is 578 acres in size. It's maximum depth is 60 feet, and it has a little over 7 miles of shoreline. You can find a variety of fish here including bluegill, black bullhead, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and rock bass.

Seventh Crow Wing Lake

Seventh Crow Wing Lake is a 260-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 42 feet and a 3.3-mile shoreline. Seventh Crow Wing Lake is a good place to fish for bluegill, green sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and black bullhead.

Sixth Crow Wing Lake

Sixth Crow Wing Lake, is just a few miles from Starlight Bay Resort. The lake covers around 340 acres, has a maximum depth of 40 feet, and a shoreline of almost 4 miles. At Sixth Crow Wing Lake, you can fish for a variety of species, including largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, rock bass, bluegill, walleye, and pumpkinseed.

Fifth Crow Wing Lake

Fifth Crow Wing Lake is a 400-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 35 feet, and a 4.3-miles shoreline. This lake typically has brown trout, walleye, largemouth bass, rock bass, yellow perch, bowfin, and bluegill,

Eighth Crow Wing Lake

Eighth Crow Wing Lake is a 500-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 30 feet and almost 5 miles of shoreline. Typically, you can have luck fishing for black bullhead, bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and green sunfish. Starlight Bay Resort is right on Eighth Crow Wing Lake.

Ninth Crow Wing Lake
Location: 4.3 miles northeast

Ninth Crow Wing Lake has a surface area of 227 acres and a maximum depth of 65 feet. Here, you can expect to find smallmouth bass, black bullhead, largemouth bass, walleye, bluegill, northern pike, rock bass, and yellow perch. Note that there is no direct public access to the lake; however, you can get there by boat from Eighth Crow Wing Lake or Tenth Crow Wing Lake.

Tenth Crow Wing Lake
Location: 5 miles northeast

Tenth Crow Wing Lake is a relatively small lake, about 175 acres in size. It has a maximum depth of 40 feet and a 3.3-mile shoreline. It's a good place to fish for green sunfish, walleye, largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, and bowfin.

Boulder Lake
Location: 7.1 miles west

Boulder Lake (Boulder Lake Reservoir) is around 3,800 acres in size, and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. Your best bet when fishing at Boulder Lake is to go for northern pike, walleye, and bluegill.
